Classes

On the first Sunday of each month, I hold a one-hour masterclass where I talk for around 30-40 mins on a writing-related topic, followed by a half hour Q&A workshop where you can discuss any issues or dilemmas you’re having, as well as benefit from the questions asked by others in the group.

Upcoming Classes

7 September – Creating Memorable Characters: Identifying your main character, giving them a backstory and an arc, and bringing them alive on the page.

5 October – Pitching to Agents: How to find the right agents to approach, and how to write a synopsis, elevator pitch and cover letter that will get you noticed

2 November – World Building: Setting the stage for your story, and deciding how much the needs of your plot dictate the details of your world, and how much the world influences the events of your story.
