Blog Plans for 2021

Having resurrected my blog this year, I hope you’ve been enjoying the writing advice I’ve been posting. 216 of you currently subscribe, so I know I must be doing something right. However, as we look ahead to a new year, I want to be sure I’m giving you want you want. So, please feel free to comment with any suggestions you might have.

For instance, would you be interested in a few personal updates mixed in with the advice posts? Maybe regular Q&A sessions?

Please, let me know below…

  1. I’d love to see longer posts with more detail – your recent posts are great but they feel like precis of more in-depth posts. Particularly interested in your writing and editing process, having enjoyed your work. And general writing/publishing life, personal updates and Q&As would also be very welcome.

  2. I’d like a mish-mash of whatever takes your fancy. Actually, I thought that was what you did, so it must be working!

  3. Hi, Gareth, I’m easy. I liked what you were already doing, so just keep ’em coming!

  4. I said this on twitter and patreon but I’ll say it here too. More spaceship art 🙂

  5. I enjoy your posts very much, Gareth, though there are times when I feel I’d be interested to read a bit more detail. Also, I’ve recently done a webinar where the author concerned had researched her followers’ reactions to her e-mails and blog posts, and one of the surprising things she’d found was that her readers often would like to know about more personal aspects of her life as an author. Don’t know if that helps, but it’s an interesting aspect of keeping in contact with readers.
