- Ernest Hemingway on Writing – Ed. Larry W. Phillips
- How To Write Damn Good Fiction – James N Frey
- The Starflight Handbook – Eugene F. Mallove & Gregory L. Matloff
- Mining The Sky – John S. Lewis
- Big Questioons In Science – Ed. Harriet Swain
- No Plot? No Problem! – Chris Baty
- Introducing Relativity – Bruce Bassett

Orson Scott Card’s How to write Science Fiction and Fantasy is quite good.
I also like to dive into Stephen King’s On Writing for inspiration.
Well it’s not a book on writing Sf but about it’s history: The Dreams Our Stuff Is Made Of by Thomas M. Disch.
Insightful, intelligent, witty and superbly written.
